1. About these terms

These terms apply to the use of the Engineering ABC website. Engineering ABC is a brand of Tribos, the company of Anton van Beek and publisher of the book Advanced Engineering Design.

2. Use of the calculation tools

The calculators and technical content are offered as a tool and reference. They have been prepared with care, but we make no guarantee of complete accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose. Always verify important calculations yourself. Engineering ABC is not liable for damage arising from the use of the tools or content.

3. Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, calculators, the book and imagery — is protected by copyright and based on the work of Anton van Beek. You may use the content for your own, non-commercial use, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Purchases and downloads

The book, formula booklets and other downloads are sold through our separate webshop, engineering-abc.shop, which has its own terms, account system and payment provider. Digital products are delivered immediately there; with your consent, the right of withdrawal may not apply to immediate digital delivery.
