No login lock. Design pressure ratio β=0.5 and eccentricity ratio ε=0.5 are hardcoded in the original (not exposed there), kept as fixed constants here. The three sequential (non-else-if) Fdim conditionals are preserved exactly, including the BD<0.25 override.

- Aerostatic radial (journal) gas bearing — empirical dimensionless load correlation (piecewise-quadratic in L/D, with a flat 0.401 floor below L/D=0.25) plus restrictor flow continuity.
- Ambient pressure is fixed at 1 bar in the original; the pₛ input is the supply/ambient pressure ratio, not an absolute pressure.
De berekening is een letterlijke overzetting van de originele client-side JavaScript van /calculators/e14_7.htm. Resultaten zijn geverifieerd gelijk aan het origineel via een geautomatiseerde golden-master-test. Geen enkele formule is opnieuw afgeleid of “verbeterd”.
